Farmland, a Smithfield Foods brand,
teamed with popular Minneapolisbased
Number 12 Cider to launch a
limited edition Maple Bacon-flavored
Cider. The limited-time offering was
served at Number 12 Cider taproom
while supplies lasted.
Ingredients for the hard cider
included locally sourced apples, maple
syrup and natural smoked bacon
flavoring. Customers looking to take
the Maple Bacon-flavored Cider home
were able to buy the cider brew in a
four-pack at Number 12 Cider's taproom for $12 while supplies were available.
Farmland and Number 12 Cider introduced the collaboration to mark National
Pork Month and National Cider Month in October.

Cocktail, cooking crossover
Reynolds Wrap has a new Thanksgiving recipe that combines two classics - the
espresso martini and turkey. The company's Espresso Turkey-tini features the
flavors of a Thanksgiving turkey with a richly spiced espresso rub incorporating
sweet coffee liquor and a dressing that blends oranges, espresso beans and
fresh herbs.

Frito-Lay North America's Doritos
brand is moving beyond snacking
into late-night dining with Doritos
After Dark, a restaurant concept
opening in the Crypto.com Arena
in Los Angeles. The restaurant
will offer everything from spicy
appetizers to bold entrees and
sweet desserts.
