Hormel Foods board of directors.
Schoneman joined the audit and
governance committees of the Hormel

appointed Aris de Rijke, PhD, as
the company's new chief technology

officer. De Rijke comes to the business
with more than two decades of
experience in innovation, development
and industrial implementation of novel
technologies having worked at global
companies such as Shell, DSM and

Boar's Head Brand, Sarasota, Fla.,
announced Frank Yiannas, MPH, has
been named chief food safety advisor
for the company on an interim basis.
Also, Yiannas will chair the Boar's Head
Food Safety Advisory Council.
Chomps
Chomps, Naples, Fla., announced Tim
Bosslet will serve in the new position
of chief financial officer. Bosslet, a
finance specialist who has worked for
more than 15 years in the consumer
packaged goods segment, was the
fourth member of the company's
leadership roster after he was first
hired in 2019.

Tracey, Calif.-based American Custom
Meats welcomes its new president,
Gary Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer succeeds
Gus Coutrakis, who is retiring and
transitioning into a role on the board of
directors after leading the company for
13 years.
Carnivore Meat
Carnivore Meat Co., Green Bay, Wis.,
announced Michael Wood is joining
the company as chief operating officer.
Wood is expected to play a crucial role
in helping the company effectively

Astral Foods, Johannesburg, South
Africa, announced the resignation of
Frans van Heerden as executive
director and managing director of
Poultry Commercial, effective Jan. 30,
2025. After serving with the company
for 18 years, van Heerden plans to
pursue a career outside the poultry
industry, according to Astral.

appointed Eric Swanson as service
manager. In this role, Swanson
will oversee the company's service
operations, ensuring customers receive
top-tier support from FPEC.
Wayne-Sanderson
Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Oakwood,
Ga., announced its succession plan, in
which Kevin McDaniel will become
the company's new president and chief
executive officer on April 1, 2025. Clint
Rivers, the current president and CEO,
plans to retire on March 31, 2025.

recently opened its new West Coast
office in Cypress, Calif. The company
