As part of its Honey Mango Crispy Chicken debut, Del Taco
is introducing three new menu items. The Honey Mango
Crispy Chicken Taco, the Honey Mango Crispy Chicken &
Churros Box and the Epic Honey Mango Crispy Chicken &
Bacon Burrito.
The Epic Honey Mango Crispy Chicken & Bacon
Burrito features crispy chicken strips, bacon, crinkle cut
fries, grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and honey mango
sauce wrapped in a warm, oversized flour tortilla.
" Our new honey mango sauce will remind crispy
chicken fans of that sweet and sour sauce they grew up
with, but with a Del Taco flavor twist, " said Tim Hackbardt,
chief marketing officer at Del Taco. " For crispy chicken
lovers, our honey mango is a must try flavor whether
it's on a Crispy Chicken Taco for only a dollar, drizzled
over chicken and churros, or devoured in an Epic Crispy
Chicken Burrito full of bacon, sour cream and our famous
crinkle cut fries. "

Kellogg Co., who partnered with Wendy's
Co. on the Pringles Baconator potato
crisps in 2020, will now launch the product that is inspired by the hamburger
chain's signature sandwich in Canada.
The limited-edition item features hints
of beef, American cheese, applewood
smoked bacon, ketchup and mayonnaise.
" Wendy's is known for serving up
great tasting, high quality food every day,
all over the world. So, in true Pringles
fashion, we wanted to capture the
fresh beef, cheese and bacon flavors of
a Wendy's Baconator, all in one chip, "
said Christine Jakovcic, vice president
marketing & nutrition, Kellogg Canada
Inc. " This was an extremely ambitious
endeavor, especially when you consider
the bar was set high after a successful US launch last summer. And I'm thrilled to report, the Pringles flavor team
did it again by bringing this exclusive taste experience to
Canada. "
Kellogg said that some people who bought the chips
in June 2020 even put the Baconator chips on top of a
Wendy's Baconator.
Liz Geraghty, Wendy's chief marketing officer, added,
" The Wendy's Baconator is so iconic and unique, I originally wondered if the Pringles team had bitten off more
than they could chew. But I have to say, I'm very impressed.
I think our legion of Canadian fans and Baconator lovers
will be just as amazed as I was by how well these Pringles
replicate the real thing. It's bold. And it's delicious. "
