Pizza topping slicer
Grote Co. launched the Ultramatic
Pizza Topping Slicer, a pendulum-style
slicer designed for high-production
volume with whole pattern slicing up
to 12 " with a single stroke. The new
Ultramatic gives frozen pizza producers
an easier, faster way to slice and
place toppings, especially pepperoni.
The Ultramatic can slice and place
toppings at a rate of up to 45 pizzas
per minute per lane, with three to four
lanes of capacity. Featuring a compact
footprint and ergonomic design, the
machine requires only one operator.
Its pendulum slicing functionality
features a gravity feed and Grote's
patented AccuBand blade system.

X-ray inspection
In partnership with System Square,
Prospection Solutions unveiled a highresolution
dual-energy x-ray inspection
system. X-ray inspection systems are
pivotal to modern quality control, utilizing
advanced generators and sensors
to automatically detect foreign objects
in food and other industrial products.

Cryogenic chilling
Messer, a cryogenic solutions innovator
in poultry processing, will be launching
the KwikChiller, a continuous, nitrogen
chilling solution for fresh poultry,
in an exclusive innovation suite at
the 2025 International Production &
Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta.
The KwikChiller offers an alternative
technology that could increase yield,
improve temperature control and give
relief from CO2 safety and supply
chain challenges. The nitrogen-based
solution achieved an 85% reduction
in purge loss at a leading poultry
processing facility, Messer said.

Heat exchangers
