At the 2024 IPPE, Provisur

the further processing and separation

innovations in NovaMax forming and
Beehive separation technologies. The
state-of-the-art NovaMax 660 system
is powered by servo technology and
is ideal for forming a wide range of
meat, poultry and non-meat products,
including chicken filets, chicken nuggets,
burger patties and pork sausage.
The Beehive S20 rotary separator
is designed specifically for poultry
and seafood. It ensures premium
results with a high-speed separation
process, leading to a reduced temperature
rise in the end product.

Checkweighing
Fortress Technology launched a new
slim-line Raptor design that prioritizes
operator ergonomics. Sharing knowledge

Mobile robots
Automation for pouches
Allpax, a ProMach brand, has
introduced a high-speed automated
pouch loading and unloading system.
This scalable and customizable system
integrates the robotic tray loading and
unloading cells with an automated tray
tracking system to ensure unprocessed
tray stacks of pouches can't be sent
to the unloader cell without being
fully processed in the retorts. The
system uses Delta robots to orient
and form a pattern of pouches at a
rate up to 200 pouches per minute.

Robotic picking arm
Movu Robotics launched the Movu
eligo robot picking arm. A fully
integrated robotic bin picking solution,
developed in close collaboration
with Righthand Robotics, Movu eligo
can automatically piece-pick from a
single-SKU source bin and place the
individual items into multiple mixedSKU
destination bins. Developed
to close the gap between manual
and fully automatic pick operation,
Movu eligo provides operators with
a step forward in order picking.

KUKA Robotics will spotlight a pair
of innovative mobile robots March
11-14 at MODEX 2024 in Atlanta. The
KUKA KMP 1500P autonomous mobile
platform revolutionizes automation
for intralogistic optimization. The
robot transports up to 1.5 tonnes of
materials, supplies lines and cells with
materials and parts to link processes.
The KUKA KMP 600-S diffDrive
mobile platform automated guided
vehicle (AGV) uses laser scanners
and 3D object detection to meet the
highest safety requirements. The
AGV moves at up to 2 meters per
second in all directions and offers
up to 600 kg of payload capacity.
