For time-pressed consumers, pre-made
charcuterie kits are a practical solution when
buying everything individually and crafting a
board on their own isn't a convenient option.
Columbus Craft Meats, a subsidiary of Hormel
Foods Corp., has seen much success with its
Columbus Charcuterie Tasting Board product
that covers the basics of a charcuterie board.
The fixings come packaged in wood-printed
plastic in the shape of charcuterie board with
a clear film cover. It's important to enhance

presentation of the ingredients to drive sales.
The tasting board by Columbus Craft features
the brand's Italian Dry Salame and Calabrese
Salame, sliced white cheddar cheese, La

Grazing boards can serve 10-20 people based
on the size of the board. Custom boards can
be made for gift-giving, and there's a board to
suit a variety of tastes of the brand's menu.
The Grazey for Keto has more protein options
and fewer carbohydrate and sugar options.
The brunch board has breakfast meats, eggs,
pastries and fresh fruits. There's even a veggieonly
option called the Vegegrazian.
In 2023, the brand nearly doubled its
footprint, opening 35 new locations throughout
the year. The brand made entry into new US
states including Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware,
Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Nevada, and New
Mexico, and launched international operations
in Australia and France. The concept signed
51 franchise agreements in 2023 and plans
to develop new locations in key markets like
Quebec, Southern California and New England.
