from than just basic cheeseburgers. Chains are offering
consumers a wide variety of
toppings to suit every taste.
CARL'S JR. & HARDEE'S
Sonic Drive-In added a hefty burger to its
lineup. The new Biggie Cheese is made
with two 100% beef patties, three slices of
American cheese, grilled onions, pickles
and hickory barbecue sauce stacked double-decker style on a brioche bun.
"When big hunger calls, the Biggie
Cheese answers the call to satisfy our
guests' cravings," said Scott Uehlein,
vice president of product innovation
and development for Sonic.

This Spring, McDonald's debuted the
Double Big Mac featuring four 100%
beef patties with Special Sauce, lettuce,
cheese, pickles and onions with an extra
bun in between.

Topped fries and burgers collide in the
new Loaded Cheese Fry Burger from
TGI Fridays. The hefty handheld features
a burger patty, American cheese, lettuce,
tomato, red onions, pickles, baconcheese fries and poblano queso on a
toasted bun. The burger is then skewered with a loaded potato skin.
