the new series of VACTEST vacuum
measurement equipment. Designed
to combine the latest advances in
vacuum metrology with exceptional
manufacturing quality, it provides

portfolio of active vacuum gauges and
controllers. Robust construction, reliability and measurement accuracy are

control vacuum processes. With the
various VACTEST products, Busch

The R2200 Portioning Machine from
Hollymatic forms patties and other
shapes up to a 4.7-inch diameter
with adjustable weights and thickness from 3/16 inches to 1 1/3 inches.
It has a variable speed production
output rate of 2,200 portions per
hour. Hollymatic's R2200 is suited to
a variety of product mixtures with
numerous textures and consistencies.
Simple operation uses synchronized
paddles to gently form and portion
the product while at the same time
interleave patty paper, if required.
Powered by a ¾ HP motor, the
Hollymatic R2200 Portioning Machine
has a hopper capacity of 33 lbs.

Rotary vane pump
Nutec's 745H Food Forming System
features a rotary vane pump that gently
moves product into the fill area without
overworking or back flow. Processors
can form a wide variety of different
raw material (beef, poultry, vegetables
and mixes) at production rates of up to
3,600 lbs per hour (1,633 kg per hour).
Mold plate changes can be performed
in less than 5 minutes, minimizing
downtime and maximizing production
flexibility. The intelligent design of

Filtration technology

Spirax Sarco's UTM 20 Ultrasonic
flowmeter is a non-intrusive, clampon, ultrasonic meter that measures
temperature and fluid velocity to
provide food, beverage, oil, gas,
healthcare, waste and wastewater
customers data about their systems
such as energy usage and flow rate.
The UTM 20 provides diagnostics to
reduce guesswork and isolate process
or application problems. The new
Easy Rail Transducers can adjust and
optimize on the pipeline for the best
possible signal. The UTM 20 provides
users instantaneous feedback on fluid
usage, which enables them to track and
report on energy usage and flow rate.

GEA ScreenFilter is an in-house
concept and design, based purely on
the principles of passive filtration
and gravity. Compared to traditional
filtering technologies, the ScreenFilter
allows for faster machine set-up and
significantly reduces the time needed
for cleaning. The filter is self-cleaning.
The filter itself has very few parts
which require cleaning, which saves
time and reduces damage which might
otherwise occur as a result of repeated
re-assembly. This design means the
filter element does not rotate and nor
is there continuous scraper action to
remove the filtrate from the surface of
the filter element. The filter deck on the
GEA ScreenFilter is easy to access and
can be cleaned or exchanged while the
filter is running, reducing cleaning time.
