dual energy sensor that detects
contaminants as small as 0.4 mm and significantly
improves detection of low-density or soft contaminants,
providing virtually zero false rejects. XR75 DualX provides
a higher quality image - detecting contaminants, such as
bones in poultry, pork or beef and within products with
overlapping pieces. The technology behind DualX takes
QC and HACCP programs well beyond just metal detection
in a high-speed production environment by targeting the
elimination of other dangerous foreign material.

announced the launch of the iQCheck Vibrio Real-Time PCR
Detection Kit, a fast and accurate method to detect
the three main Vibrio species that cause vibriosis, a
disease linked to approximately 80,000 illnesses in
the US every year. The kit reduces the time to results
from 7 days down to 11 hours. The iQ-Check Vibrio Kit
reduces false positives by using Bio-Rad's Free DNA
Removal Solution that eliminates free DNA from the
sample and provides specialized probes and primers
that help prevent nonspecific DNA amplification. A
synthetic DNA internal control is included in the iQCheck Vibrio Kit reaction mix to validate negative results.

Nutec's C-Frame Depositors have
improved the way processors deposit
dough and fillings for a variety of
refrigerated and frozen food products.
These portioning depositors provide
excellent portion weight control and clean, accurate
filling placement down the line. Up to 45,000 deposits
