VACUUM TUMBLER

PATTY FORMING SYSTEM

The Hollymatic HVT-30 Vacuum
Tumbler features a built-in vacuum
pump, a programmable timer and
25-lb. maximum working capacity.
The tumbler also offers variable speed from 1-18 RPM,
110/220 V, see-through processing lid and removable
stainless-steel tank with baffles. It comes in a compact
size - only 22 in. by 21 in. by 17 in., and weighs only 42
lbs. The tumbling process increases yield, tenderizes
product, reduces cook time and evenly distributes flavor
throughout product, whether it is meat, fish or poultry.

The all-hydraulic Nutec 760
was designed to eliminate
mechanical systems, thereby
reducing downtime, minimizing
maintenance and lowering
repair costs. The 760 provides
accurate weights, minimum
leakage and rapid changeover while processing the
toughest, hard to form products. The Nutec 760 Rotary
Vane Pump Feed System gently portions up to 7,000 lbs.
of product per hour with minimal product working. A
rotating spiral gently moves product toward the rotor. The
Vane Pump feeds directly to the mold plate cavity without
product backflow or bridging. With a 26-in. usable mold
plate width, the 760 uses a variety of mold plate materials
to run beef, pork, poultry, fish, veal, lamb or vegetables.

SEALING/LIDDING
MACHINE
Ossid, a product
brand of ProMach,
introduces the TS-72, the high throughput model for a
new generation of sealing/lidding machines. The TS-72
packages beef, chicken, pork and seafood in trays, cups
and rounds. In addition to vacuum skin pack capabilities,
models of the TS-72 are available for ambient, modified
atmosphere packaging (MAP), and MAP with vacuum
applications. The dual-lane TS-72 operates up to 15 cycles
per minute. The TS-72's quick changeover functionality
gives protein packing operations the flexibility to
effectively produce a wide range of stock keeping units
(SKUs) on the same line.

BELT SCRAPER BLADE
The new scraper blade from
Dynamic Conveyor helps
remove bulk food product
carry back and prevents it
from falling off at various
points on the conveyor. Bulk product, especially sticky
food product, can adhere to the conveyor belt and be
difficult to release at the appropriate time; therefore,
resulting in product loss, various housekeeping and
conveyor maintenance problems. The scraper blade
offers an uncomplicated design with stainless steel
components and food grade materials that limit crevices
and opportunities for bacteria growth.

Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems launched a new series
of liquid ring vacuum pumps. The new Dolphin LM/LT
vacuum pumps have been completely redesigned but are
based on proven liquid ring vacuum technology. With these
new vacuum pumps, Busch has been able to optimize an
existing product that has become an established part of
many industrial processes, resulting in the development
of extremely powerful, yet
energy-efficient vacuum
pumps. Dolphin LM models
are single-stage vacuum
pumps for the rough vacuum
range from atmospheric
pressure to 100 Torr ultimate
pressure. Dolphin LT models
are available in two-stage versions and cover the vacuum
range from atmospheric pressure to 25 Torr.
