The Hollymatic Stainless Steel 4000 Series Industrial
Mixer/Grinders are designed and built to mix and grind
a wide variety of products. Hollymatic offers these work
horse units with No. 56 or optional No.
66 grinding heads. All machines are
equipped with variable speed mix and
grind and programmable mix forward
and reverse timers to allow for a fully
homogenous mixture. The Model
4200F of the series is designed with
robust mixing paddles and a tapered
outfeed hopper to efficiently process frozen flaked and

solution, the VassoyoAir
Triangular Corner Post automatic tray former, geared
toward addressing secondary packaging needs for food,
non-food, and bulk packaging industries displaying
product in wholesale club retail environments. The
VassoyoAir Triangular Corner Post machine can
mechanically form and glue triangular corner post trays
in various configurations, creating a sturdy and stackable
display-ready tray. Triangular corner post trays provide the
added benefits of strength, stability and safety that are not
typical of traditional single-wall corrugate material.

BACTERIA COUNT PLATE
3M Food Safety announced its 3M Petrifilm Lactic Acid
Bacteria Count Plate has received an NSF Validation
certification granted by AFNOR Certification: Certificate
#3M 01/19-11/17. The 3M Petrifilm Lactic Acid Bacteria
Count Plate has been validated by comparison to the ISO
15214 reference method. The scope of the validation is
the enumeration of mesophilic lactic acid bacteria in all
human food products (excluding yogurts), and industrial
environment samples. The ready-to-use plate simplifies
the testing process for lactic acid bacteria spoilage
organisms with a self-contained anaerobic environment.
Food companies can use the technology to obtain
accurate results in less time, monitor shelf life, reduce
waste, minimize recalls and improve the look, taste,
texture and smell of their products.

Spirax Sarco announces the release of
the FT23 range of float and thermostatic
steam traps. This range is suitable for heavily contaminated
steam applications. The FT23 Steam Traps feature external
manual blockage levers that allow for manual operation of
the steam trap to purge contaminants. Stainless steel cover
on both carbon steel and stainless-steel bodies for high
level of corrosion resistance. New plug and seat design
with 'self-cleaning' capability makes the steam trap less
susceptible to the risk of failure due to fouling.

Wildeck Inc. has been awarded U.S. Patent No. 9,834,975
for its innovative "Hazard Alert Device for Elevated
Barrier," known commercially as Wildeck's EdgeAlert
Open Gate Alarm System. The
alarm system includes a 120
VAC plug-in power supply and
can also be powered by (4) long
life alkaline "D" cell batteries
(not included with the device).
A Single-Pole, Single-Throw
30V, 2A, 60W Relay Output is provided for connection to
other alarms or safety controls. A dual-channel processor
system is self-monitoring and will display a "fault" signal if
a sensor or wiring problem is detected.

The X-line, a new
generation of
thermoforming
packaging machines from Multivac, has been
given the Gold International FoodTec Award 2018. The
thermoforming packaging machine sets a new benchmark
in the market thanks to its range of innovative technology.
As a result of its seamless digitalization, comprehensive
sensor system and networking with the Multivac Cloud,
the X-line creates a new dimension,when it comes to
packaging reliability, quality and performance. The X-line
has a level of sensor control never achieved before,
whereby the Multi Sensor Control captures all the relevant
parts of the process. Using closed control circuits, the
sensor system constantly captures a wide range of process
values. Even the forming and sealing dies are integrated
into the sensor control via electronic sensor modules.
