But the corporate giant parlayed those concepts aimed at increasing sales to become one of the legendary worldwide foodservice operators. Without adding drive-through windows, a very small Covington, Ky.-based, meat processor has taken what was a virtually unknown German breakfast sausage and consistently racked up an 8 percent growth in its volume through the creation and building of a meat festival dedicated to the product.
