Animal Welfare Auditor for the Southeast region.
Auditors will be responsible for conducting supplier evaluations in meat and poultry operations,
including the responsibility of a regional territory,
which includes approximately 80% travel. Ideal
candidates will possess degrees in Animal Science,
Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, or other related
fields, at least 5 years experience in a quality assurance role in the meat and poultry industry and
broad knowledge/experience of meat and poultry
operations. Direct experience performing audits
and knowledge of animal welfare principles, GMP's,
food safety principles, HAACP, and other relevant
government regulations are also necessary. Strong
computer and interpersonal skills are critical to the
success of these positions.
