recently announced it had hired Dr. Susan LeFrancois as manager of regulatory affairs and quality assurance. She
will be responsible for the company's
compliance with U.S. Food and Drug

Agriculture regulations. She will also

and improve customer satisfaction and
service quality.

Guelph, Ont., has appointed Gary
Fread as its new president and C.E.O.
His experience in corporate management and management consulting,
supply chain management, sales and
operations spans more than 25 years.
Most recently, Fread served as president of Fread & Associates Ltd., a consulting company providing expertise
in strategic planning, organizational
effectiveness and supply chain management in the agri-food sector.

Roger Martin, area sales

John B. Seiffhart, a former senior

a well known and highly respected
German master butcher and spent decades in leading management positions
at U.S. meat companies, including
Smithfield Foods, Inc., Hygrade and
Goehring.

announced a strategic alliance with
LEU-TRONIC, Karlsbad, Germany,
an industry leader in product recovery

Dept. of Agriculture certificates for
